The CBD in our Beak & Skiff products is grown on our orchard and processed in our state-of-the-art Hemp House facility.
Is CBD legal?
CBD is legal in all 50 states, as long as it is derived from hemp, not marijuana, and contain less than 0.3% THC. No medical marijuana card is required to buy or use hemp-derived CBD products.
How can CBD help me?
There is enormous therapeutic potential in CBD. Cannabinoids interact with our endocannabinoid system (ECS, which is an integral part of our neuro-immuno- endocrine network) and has been shown to help control pain, alleviate anxiety, aid sleep, promote a sense of well-being, and more. Researchers continue to study the effects of CBD on a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, epilepsy, dementia and more. Extensive preclinical research and some clinical studies have shown that CBD has strong anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, anti-tumoral, and neuroprotective qualities.
Will this get me high?
We’re not that kind of orchard! CBD is completely non-psychotropic. All of our products are made from hemp plants and contain less than the legal limit of 0.3% THC. THC is the component of the cannabis plant that produces a “high.”
Are hemp and marijuana the same thing?
No. Marijuana generally refers to Cannabis sativa plants that have a high concentration of THC, the component responsible for the “high.” Hemp plants possess a high concentration of CBD, with only traces of THC.
What is the right dosage of CBD?
An effective dosage can range from as little as a 5mg of CBD per day up to 150mg per day. Make sure to start low and go slow. Take a few small doses over the course of the day rather than one big dose. Use the same dose for several days. Observe the effects and if necessary adjust the amount. Don’t overdo it.
*3rd party lab testing is available by scanning the QR code on our products. This ensures that it has been lab tested for the 3 P’s – Potency (how much CBD is in it), Purity (any residual solvents from extraction process) and Pesticides. Unfortunately, CBD labels on many products are often inaccurate and unreliable as far as their CBD content. NOT OURS! We take this stuff seriously.
Will I fail a drug test?
Beak & Skiff Research CBD products are made with full spectrum hemp extract, which means traces of THC (below 0.3%) may be present in our products. Consuming even small quantities of naturally occurring THC via a hemp infused CBD product could lead to a failed drug test.
What is Full Spectrum Hemp Extract?
All of Beak & Skiff Research’s CBD products use full spectrum hemp extract, which is made using the whole hemp plant and may contain trace amounts of naturally occurring THC along with a range of other minor cannabinoids and terpenes.
